Simon Hudson - Psychotherapy sessions
Simon is a registered psychotherapist and couples counsellor with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) He offers short and long term counselling and psychotherapy sessions to both individuals and couples. His work is integrative and draws from the fields of transactional analysis and existential approaches amongst others.
He has worked in the field of counselling and psychotherapy for five years in London for a number of organisations including Notting Hill HELP counselling, Brent alcohol and drugs services and the NHS IAPT team at Guys’ Hospital.
Simon works with people suffering from a life crisis, depression, anxiety, bereavement, low self-esteem, negative childhood experiences, relationship and work related issues. He is qualified to work with Sex Addiction issues from the ISAT school.
Simon has an integrative approach when working with clients drawing from his training in transpersonal, humanistic and existential therapy.
Alongside his private Practice Simon has worked as a therapist for the Cognitive Analytical Therapy unit at the Munro Centre. In the NHS over the last year Simon has been working in primary care (Couples counselling at a G.P. surgery) and at Guys Hospital working with personality disorders.
Simon's training includes an Integrative Diploma of Counselling and Psychotherapy from The Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE), London, and Couples Training from Metanoia Institute, Ealing. Prior to training as a therapist Simon pursued a 20-year career in both marketing and the music business. He is particularly interested in working with creativity and mindfulness.
