In these sessions we explore simple exercises to identify, celebrate and use our top strengths and the strengths of our colleagues.

Enabling team members to play to their strengths has been shown to:

  • ensure that individuals are matched to the right roles at work.
  • foster positive emotions and wellbeing in the workplace.
  • create a culture where individuals and teams celebrate each others strengths.
  • enable individuals to use their top strengths to overcome personal and group challenges effectively.

To help identify the individual and team strengths, we use a number of techniques from the field of Positive Psychology, including; an online strengths finding tool called the Values in Action Inventory (VIA), 360 degree feedback methods, appreciative enquiry and role-‐playing (using strengths interviewing techniques).

The Programme

We have run strengths coaching workshops for major organisations like Amerada Hess and staff at the House of Commons. These have ranged from 90-minute taster sessions to 2-day workshops.

The number of participants typically range from 10 to 25 with sessions being held at the client premises. The sessions are a great way to help teams gel together.
